Ezra 9;3
 
 
3. &nbsp;When I heard this, I rent my garments and my mantle, and pulled hair from my head and beard, and sat&nbsp;appalled.
 
Psalm 46;10
 
10. &nbsp;Be still, and know that I am God. &nbsp;I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth!
 
Dear Brethren in Christ,
 
I believe the Lord in His loving mercy is leading me to take a break from these daily commentary/devotions.
I believe I am being led to cease all ministerial efforts, other than my Sunday School class, (I committed&nbsp;
myself to teach&nbsp;for this&nbsp;current school year, and will keep my promise. &nbsp;After that, I cannot say whether I will teach again next fall.)
 
Like Ezra, I have been brought to&nbsp;a point of simply being still&nbsp;and waiting on the Lord to know what if anything&nbsp;He would have me to do. &nbsp;At this moment&nbsp;in time I honestly believe I am being shown by the Lord to cease and be still. &nbsp;I will, in humility,&nbsp;faith, and peace,&nbsp;wait upon the Lord, confident that He will guide me,&nbsp;His will be done.
 
I have always believed, the better course for you all&nbsp;to follow, (rather than reading these daily devotions), is to encourage each of you to do as I urge you all to do at the end of each devotion.
“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in God’s living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”
 
I commend you all to His perfect loving care and will, His grace to you in Christ Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit, to guide you into all the truth.
