<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Romans 15;25-29<div><br></div><div><b>25. &nbsp;At&nbsp;present, however, I am going to Jerusalem with aid for the saints.&nbsp;</b></div><div><b>26. &nbsp;For Macedonia and Achaea&nbsp;have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem;</b></div><div><b>27. &nbsp;they were pleased to do it, and indeed they are in debt to them, for if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material blessings.</b></div><div><b>28. &nbsp;When therefore I have completed this, and have delivered to them&nbsp;what has been raised, I shall go on by&nbsp;way of&nbsp;you to Spain;</b></div><div><b>29. &nbsp;and I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ.</b></div><div><br></div><div>Paul also&nbsp;uses the Macedonian example here as he writes to the Jewish Believers in Rome. &nbsp;Telling&nbsp;of the Macedonians&nbsp;sacrificial giving. &nbsp;(see, 2 Corinthians 8;1-15) &nbsp;Giving of material blessing comes as secondary fruit from hearts which have already been given to God and the Ministry of the Gospel.</div><div><br></div><div>Such giving, gives joy, it is not done begrudgingly. &nbsp;Such giving is evidence of Christ by the Spirit indwelling us.</div><div><br></div><div>Paul is confident that his future visit to the church in Rome will bring the blessings of Christ in their midst.</div><div>I believe he is truly excited to finally go to Rome. &nbsp;Sadly it will be years yet before he does meet the Roman church. &nbsp;The Lord is not done with him. &nbsp;This next period in his life is found in Acts 20;18-Acts 28;31.</div><div><br></div><div>Paul does come to Rome in the full blessing of Christ, but as a prisoner for the Lord and the Church.</div><div>Most historians believe Paul was martyred there in Rome and never made it to Spain. &nbsp;The Spirit of God at work in Paul is at work in us. &nbsp;Where is your ‘Spain’?</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, we praise You for the witness of power, devotion,&nbsp;sacrificial love, and wisdom given to the Apostle Paul. &nbsp;He thought of himself as the chief of sinners, and with him, so are we. &nbsp;We praise You Father for the ongoing work of transformation You are still working in us all. &nbsp;Bless us Father to walk by the same Spirit as Paul, wherever You would have us to go. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric/Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</div><div><br><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
