For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God;</b></div><div><b>11. &nbsp;For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.”</b></div><div><b>12. &nbsp;So each of us shall give account of himself to God.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>To seek to do the Father’s will at all times, and to live for the praise of the glory of God the Father, is the born-anew man’s desire. &nbsp;This new man lives within us in communion, and&nbsp;union&nbsp;with Jesus, therefore, we delight in the fear of the Lord. &nbsp;It is pleasure for us to live for the praise of His’&nbsp;glory.</div><div><br></div><div>The old man, our old sinful nature, is still filled with pride, resentments, complaints, discontentedness, evil desires, and self-indulgence. &nbsp;By our old nature, we have no love in us for God or our neighbor.</div><div><br></div><div>This old-Adam still attached to us like a rotting dead limb stinks up&nbsp;our life with judging our brother, turning our back on him and his needs. &nbsp;Sadly we are most able to put the Light of Life given to us in Christ and ‘hide it under the bushel’ of our old nature.</div><div><br></div><div>This is rebellion against God, our Savior who commands us to, <i>“Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 5;16)</div><div><br></div><div>We are called to <i>“Walk by the Spirit, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh.” &nbsp;</i>(Galatians 5;16)</div><div><br></div><div>In Psalm 1 we read, <i>“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of the sinner, nor sits in the seat of the mockers, but his delight&nbsp;is in the Law of the Lord and on His Law he meditates day and night.” &nbsp;</i>(vs. 1&amp;2)&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>We are called into Christ for the purpose of having no fellowship with&nbsp;our own&nbsp;old-man.</div><div><br></div><div>That is why Paul exhorts us to, <i>“By the Spirit, put to death the deeds of the body.”</i>&nbsp; (Romans 8;13)</div><div><br></div><div>God the Father, <i>“yearns jealously over the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us.” &nbsp;</i>(James 4;5)</div><div><br></div><div>We have not just been forgiven, we have been given the Holy Spirit that we might walk in newness of life, manifesting Christ and the love of God in this world. &nbsp;We have a purpose, let us be ever mindful of it and walk in the beauty of&nbsp;holy fear, earnestly seeking by the spirit of Sonship to please our Father in heaven and partake of the Divine Nature.</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, bless us to never yield to the demands of the dead and rotting&nbsp;flesh. &nbsp;Make us to live by faith in Christ and the knowledge&nbsp;of our purpose now in Christ, knowing, <i>“We shall all give account of the deeds done in the body.”&nbsp;</i>&nbsp;(see,&nbsp;2 Corinthians 5;10)&nbsp;Merciful Father, teach our hearts the most holy and clean fear of the Lord, (Psalm 19;9)&nbsp;in Jesus we pray, Amen.</div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric/Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
